TTY focuses on R&D and innovation of oncology, anti-infection and continues to develop the product portfolios of healthcare. In doing so, to provide medical professionals and patients with more complete disease treatment solutions. Meanwhile, the best intellectual property strategy and deployment capabilities to enhance product value and the company's competitive position in the industry. In order to prudently plan deploy strategies and overseas market development, the company conducts research on drug-related intellectual property regulations, and monitoring of patent infringement risks for major products developed for target markets.

Implementation
The matters of intellectual property are submitted to the Sustainable Development Committee and the Board of Directors on March 14, 2023.
The TIPS system was introduced pursuant to the 2014 annual strategy meeting. The following year, related departments (R&D, Intellectual Property, Legal, HR, and IT) passed the first validation. And in year 2016, TTY completed the basic validation as a whole. Meanwhile, monthly TIPS meetings review current TIPS documents and discuss the addition and amendment of regulations by the management team and employee representatives according to different documents integrated management systems. The purpose is to build a consistent standard and procedure for integrating the document management of headquarters and every site. An internal audit was reviewed, and eventually the PDCA management completed. As a positive result, in year 2018, TTY acquired the 2016 TIPS LEVEL A Certificate with a successful external audit. Finally in year 2020 and year 2022, TTY passed the new edition of TIPS 2016 audit and retained the validation through to December 31, 2024.
Intellectual Property Results
By the end of year 2023, TTY has been granted 5 patents, 206 trademarks approved and 8 pending.
Certifications
TTY installed the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS) since 2015, and the latest TIPS (A Grade) verification date is December 13, 2022, and the certificate is valid until December 31, 2024.
